BMW calls the oil in its ZF automatic gearboxes "lifetime" – in practice, a fluid and filter service keeps 6- and 8-speed autos shifting smoothly for far longer. We service automatics to specification, replace leaking sump pans and seals and reset the gearbox adaptations.
On manual cars we replace clutch kits, release bearings and dual-mass flywheels, repair clutch hydraulics and replace engine and gearbox mounts.
